On the occasion of B2Cheese 2022, a national B2B dairy-milk exhibition by Fiera di Bergamo, the extra-creamy Gorgonzola Gran Riserva Leonardi was awarded at the Luxury Food&Beverage Quality Awards 2022 as "Best Gorgonzola" by a jury made up of well-known chefs. The ceremony took place at the Sala Colleoni of Fiera di Bergamo and the prize was collected by Giulia Leonardi, Export Sales Account of Igor Gorgonzola and fourth generation of the Leonardi family. extra-creamy Gorgonzola Gran Riserva Leonardi is a kind of premium Gorgonzola, produced exclusively in Igor’s artisanal dairies, according to the cheese-making tradition, using only milk from selected farms of the Novara area, certified 100% animal welfare, according to the ClassyFarm standard. The product is ripened for at least 80 days and is also a certified naturally lactose-free LFree cheese approved by the AILI (Italian Lacto Intolerant Association). It is an excellent and fine product that stands out for its mild and nuanced taste and its extraordinary creaminess that makes it perfect to be enjoyed by the spoonful.
