Gorgonzola ranks 7th among all PDO and PGI food products exported abroad.

According to the most recent ISMEA Qualivita Report, Gorgonzola takes the seventh place in the ranking of the most exported PDO and PGI food products.
Italy ranks first for EU certified products, a category which is led by cheeses followed by cold cuts and fruit and vegetables, for a total turnover of 13 billion euros.
