Preparation for Gorgonzola and Black Fig Focaccia
Wash and dry the black figs, cut each into 4 wedges.
Spread a generous dose of Gorgonzola Dolce Igor on each focaccia.
Arrange the fig wedges on top, decorate with chopped walnuts and a few fresh thyme leaves.
Drizzle with honey and enjoy.
Preparation for Focaccia filled with sweet Gorgonzola, culatello and caramelized figs
Wash and slice the figs, heat a couple of tablespoons of brown sugar in a pan.
When the sugar begins to melt, add the fig slices and quickly caramelize them on both sides.
Cut the focaccia into two parts using a sharp knife.
Spread the Gorgonzola Dolce Igor on the base, add the culatello and caramelized fig slices. Garnish with chopped hazelnuts and close the focaccia.
