On Saturday 18 February 2023, the “CambiaMenti in corso” conference took place at the multipurpose hall of the Municipality of Cameri, organized by the Municipal Administration of Cameri under the patronage of the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security and the support of Igor Gorgonzola.

The conference, moderated by Tessa Gelisio, exceptional testimonial and well-known face of the Mediaset networks, opened by the Councillor for the Environment and the Mayor of Cameri, saw the participation of the Minister of the Environment and Energy Security Gilberto Pichetto Fratin and, as speakers, of the Managers of the most representative companies of the territory with a national and international vocation, including Igor Gorgonzola, Procos CBC and Comoli Ferrari. During the Conference, these companies illustrated the strategies they have adopted to gain market share through innovation in the energy supply sector, generating an increase in internal productivity and a decrease in the CO2 emitted.

The conference was divided into three panels, the first on electric mobility and photovoltaics, the second on the response of companies, in which Fabio Leonardi spoke about the path of environmental sustainability of Igor’s virtuous supply chain, the third on the potential offered by the PNRR to tackle the water crisis and develop sustainable mobility.

In the second panel, relating to sustainability, a theme also dear to Procos CBC and Comoli Ferrari, which share with Igor, as main sponsor, the great adventure of Igor Gorgonzola Volley Novara, Fabio Leonardi highlighted the actions that the company has put in place to respond to new environmental challenges:

“Already in the pre-pandemic period we had understood that the world was changing, especially in the agri-food sector, with the consumer becoming increasingly attentive to the environment and also attentive to the type of products and packaging materials. This has led us to embark on an important sustainability path in three areas: production, packaging and communication. We started by raising awareness among the 150 farms that supply us on policies related to animal welfare, then on the collection trucks that are now powered by biogas and finally on the plant: the last one, opened three years ago, was called “Igor industry 4.0”, because we introduced sustainability and savings issues starting from water“.

An operating method that pursues the ideal of being a reality with a positive impact, developed through a series of interventions that involved the three areas of the supply chain, summarized in the acronym 3P Product, Production and Packaging.
