IGOR GORGONZOLA is pleased to announce the inauguration of a new production plant, called TRADITIONAL DAIRY QUATTROROSE, intended for the production of Gorgonzola QUATTROROSE and GRAN RISERVA LEONARDI. Located in a former factory of the historic company SANTI, purchased by IGOR, the new plant was built with a total investment of 25 million euros. The TRADITIONAL QUATTROROSE DAIRY houses a modern artisan dairy with six 3200-liter multipurpose machines and innovative seasoning cells, designed to guarantee the highest quality gorgonzola.
The TRADITIONAL QUATTROROSE DAIRY was conceived as the beating heart of the production of Gorgonzola QUATTROROSE and GRAN RISERVA LEONARDI, reaching the pinnacle of quality and dairy tradition. This plant allows us to dedicate every resource and every technology to the excellence of a product that meets the needs of the modern consumer who is increasingly attentive to superior quality, typicality, sustainability and safety.
The plant perfectly integrates the artisan tradition in production with the most advanced technologies. The six 3200-liter multipurpose machines are designed to maintain the traditional processing handed down for 4 generations of the Leonardi family, while the modern maturing cells allow the maturation process of Gorgonzola to be optimized, enhancing its organoleptic characteristics to the fullest.
The CASEIFICIO TRADIZIONALE QUATTROROSE joins the other production plants of IGOR GORGONZOLA, which counts today a total of five production sites. In addition to the new plant in Novara, IGOR owns two industrial production plants with continuous coagulators in the Cameri headquarters and two other artisanal dairies: PAL in Prato Sesia, equipped with 3000 litre multi-purpose machines, and WINTER IN Trecate, with 700-litre boilers. This large and diversified production structure allows IGOR GORGONZOLA to maintain high quantities and quality, ensuring a flexible and timely response to market needs.
“The creation of the TRADITIONAL QUATTROROSE DAIRY is the result of a long vision that combines passion for tradition and commitment to innovation,” said Fabio, Maurizio and Lara Leonardi, respectively CEO, PRESIDENT and CFO of IGOR. “With such an important investment, we want to continue to offer a product that is a symbol of excellence, keeping our artisan tradition alive and strengthening our commitment to the future.”
The opening of the TRADITIONAL QUATTROROSE DAIRY not only represents a fundamental step for IGOR GORGONZOLA, but also an opportunity for growth for the local community. The creation of new jobs and the strengthening of the production chain are the demonstration of the company’s commitment to contributing to the economic development of the territory.
