On Saturday 20 January 2024, at the Relais dei Principi restaurant in Montecastrilli (Terni), the twinning between the Sapori da Sapere Food and Wine Club, an Umbrian club that represents the wines, products and traditions of the area, with the Confraternity of Gorgonzola di Cameri represented by the Grand Cheesemaker Marco Porzio, was sealed. The Grand Cheesemaker entertained all the guests by telling anecdotes about the birth of gorgonzola and above all the characteristics that a good product must have. Cult element of the evening: Gorgonzola Igor in the Gran Riserva Leonardi version and spicy black. An excellence, which could first be tasted in purity, and then combined with the whole meal within a dedicated menu. An occasion in which the passion for culinary tradition and the sharing of unique flavors have created an indelible bond between two realities that celebrate gastronomic excellence.
