Gorgonzola Igor Gran Riserva Leonardi wins the Luxury Food & Beverage Quality Awards 2024 for the third consecutive year

On the occasion of Golosaria Milano 2024, the Igor Gorgonzola company was awarded at the Luxury Food & Beverage Quality Awards 2024 for its Gorgonzola Gran Riserva Leonardi by a jury composed of esteemed chefs: Alessandro Pipero – Ristorante Pipero (Rome, RM); Andrea Berton – Berton Restaurant (Milan, MI); Davide Caranchini – Materia Restaurant (Cernobbio, CO); Enrico Cerea – Ristorante Da Vittorio (Brusaporto, BG); Fabrizio Albini – Bianca Sul Lago Restaurant (Oggiono, LC); Francesco Sarno – Visteria Restaurant (Varenna, CO); Gennaro Esposito – Torre del Saracino Restaurant (Vico Equense, NA); Gian Piero Vivalda – Antica Corona Reale Restaurant (Cervere, CN); Giancarlo Morelli – Pomiroeu Restaurant (Seregno, MB); Giuseppe d’Errico – La Madernassa Restaurant (Guarene, CN); Isa Mazzocchi – La Palta Restaurant (Borgonovo Val Tidone, PC); Mauro Elli – Il Cantuccio Restaurant (Albavilla, CO); Paola Bertinotti – Pinocchio Restaurant (Borgomanero, NO); Theo Penati – Pierino Penati (Viganò Brianza, LC).
The Leonardi Gorgonzola Gran Riserva by the spoon represents a line of high quality Gorgonzola, made exclusively in the artisan dairies of Igor, following the ancient dairy tradition. It is produced using only milk from selected farms in the Novara area, all certified for 100% animal welfare according to the ClassyFarm standard. This Gorgonzola of excellence stands out for its sweet and nuanced flavor, as well as its extraordinary creaminess, which makes it ideal to be enjoyed with a spoon.
The award ceremony took place on Monday 4 November at 11.30 am, in the new location of Fiera Milano Rho (pavilion 5) in the Wine Tasting area.
It was a great satisfaction for IGOR, which for the third consecutive year has obtained this prestigious recognition.
