On 26 and 27 October, the Second Piedmontese Cheese Festival was held between Savigliano and the Castle of Grinzane Cavour, organized by ONAF with the aim of promoting and enhancing the richness of the dairy heritage of the Piedmont region. In a context of great participation and interest from the public and producers, the festival has confirmed itself as a fundamental meeting point for dairies, refiners and cheese lovers, offering the opportunity to discover and appreciate the wide variety of Piedmontese cheeses.
During the event, a jury of ONAF Master Tasters rigorously evaluated the cheeses in the competition, rewarding dairy excellence. Igor won the gold medal in the Spicy Gorgonzola category, distinguishing himself for the quality of his Igor Spicy Gorgonzola among a wide selection of products.
This recognition represents an important milestone for Igor and a testimony of the commitment and dedication invested to produce high quality Gorgonzola, of the work and passion that contribute to keeping alive and enhancing the Piedmontese dairy tradition.
